About Charitable Gaming
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) is working in collaboration with the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association and the Commercial Gaming Association Ontario to revitalize charitable bingo in the province by offering electronic games in bingo halls with a portion of the proceeds going to charities.

The K-W Navy League has a long history of fundraising the corps through our volunteer shares of charitable gaming. The money that we receive covers the majority of corps building and training requirements for each year.

K-W Gaming Centre
K-W Gaming Centre has been one of the primary fundraising partners of the K-W Navy League and RCSCC Warspite for over the past 30 years. Please see the requirements below:

Volunteers must be comfortable counting/working with money.

Volunteers must wear appropriate attire.
-
Clean, respectful, no rips/tears.​

Should wear something representing the K-W Navy League / Corps.

If you do not have anything, we will provide you a vest for the day.​

Volunteers will either be selling books of tickets or selling specials.

After sales, volunteers will assist on the floor, or in the back room.

Any volunteer working the back room must receive training.​​​

There is no formal advance training for the K-W Gaming centre, all training will be done on site.
​

Matinee:

Arrival: By 11:15am

Departure: Around 3:30pm

There is an 15-min intermission where snacks/food can be eaten. Please bring all you need with you.

Late Night:

Cambridge Gaming Centre
Cambridge Gaming Centre is a new partner for us! We're excited to be able to expand our charitable gaming fundraising to be able to greater support the corps! Cambridge bingo offers shorter sessions, but is more focused on us talking about our program to their patrons. Here are the requirements:

Volunteers must be comfortable talking about our program.

Volunteers must wear designated attire.

New Volunteers:

White collared shirt​
-
Conservative Dark pants/skirt — No Denim, track pants, or Shorts.

Name Tag & League Vest — To be supplied.

Tasteful and appropriate footwear.

No Hats

Returning Volunteers:​​

Collared League/Corps Polo​

Conservative Dark pants/skirt — No Denim, track pants, or Shorts.

Name Tag with First Name

Volunteers will talk to patrons, cleaning tables, assisting as required.

2-4PM Shift (1 Hour bingo, 1 Hour slots):
