⛵ SAIL TRAINING WEEKEND – JUNE 14–15, 2025
📢 Attention selected Warspite cadets!
Only the 20 sailing cadets and 6 support cadets who received the letter are to attend.
📌 If you cannot attend, let us know ASAP!
📍 Drop-Off & Pick-Up Location:The Ship – 316 Marsland Dr, Waterloo
🕕 Drop-Off: 0645h on Saturday & Sunday
🚌 Bus departs at 0700h sharp
⏰ Pick-Up: 1745h at The Ship each day
📍 Training Site:Hamilton Cadet Nautical Site – HMCS Star
🎒 KIT LIST – What to Bring:✔ Closed-toe running shoes (no boots or sandals)✔ Water bottle (refillable)✔ Sunscreen✔ Hat & sunglasses (strap recommended)✔ Sweater, t-shirt, windbreaker or rain jacket✔ Sweatpants or wind pants (no jeans!)✔ Bathing suit & towel✔ Dry clothes and dry footwear✔ Optional: wetsuit or sailing gloves
🚫 Do not bring money, electronics, video games, or valuables.
📵 Electronics brought are at your own risk.
🍽️ Meals:
Eat breakfast before arrival each day
Lunch & snacks provided
Dinner is not provided
Let us know about dietary restrictions in advance
👨✈️ Staff and screened volunteers will be on-site all day.
First Aid qualified personnel present.
