THIS IS FOR ALL CADETS!

Camp Heidelberg, 2001 Kressler Rd, Waterloo, ON

PHASE 1 & 2 CADETS (All Cadets Unless Instructed Otherwise)

Drop-Off and Pick-Up

• Arrival:

  • Saturday, April 26 at 0900h (9:00 AM)

• Pickup:

  • Sunday, April 27 at 1500h (3:00 PM)

Transportation:

• Parents/guardians are responsible for both drop-off and pick-up at Camp Heidelberg.

Kit List

• Cadets must bring the following:

  • 3–4 sets of appropriate civilian attire

  • Weather-appropriate outerwear (coat, hat, gloves, etc.)

  • Running shoes and winter boots

  • 2 sets of sleepwear

  • Sleeping gear:

  • Cadets will sleep on camp-style bunks

  • Bunks can only accommodate a small mat — no large air mattresses

  • Bring a blanket or small sleeping pad, sleeping bag, and pillow

  • Toiletries (Tooth Brush, Deodorant, etc)

  • Refillable water bottle

  • Do NOT bring drugs, alcohol, weapons, money, or video games.

  • Personal electronics are brought at your own risk.

Meals

• Cadets must eat breakfast before arrival on Saturday.

• All other meals, snacks, and drinks from Saturday lunch to Sunday lunch are provided.

• Please inform staff in advance of any allergies or dietary needs.

Safety & Supervision

• Staff and screened volunteers will be supervising cadets at all times.

• First aid qualified personnel will be on site.

Activities Include:

• Shelter building, survival kits,

• paracord bracelets

• Sea shanties, campfire & skit night

• Capture the flag, hike, and more!

PHASE 3+ CADETS

Arrival:

• Friday, April 25 at 1900h (7:00 PM)

Bring:

• Same kit list above

• Anything you need for your classes

• Reminder:

• Eat supper before arriving on Friday night.

• Pickup, transportation, and everything else is the same.
