Last year, on October 1st, was our October Ceremonial Divisions. For those of you who don't know, Ceremonial Divisions happen on the first training night of the month. It is when Cadets come dressed in their C1 formal uniform, parents get to see their Cadets parade, and it is where Cadets get promotions, awards and recognitions. This article will cover all (most) of the promotions, awards and sworn-ins that happened at our first Ceremonial Divisions of the training year.
Promotions

Cadet Liu. A got promoted from Ordinary Cadet to Able Cadet. AC Liu. A is pictured above (centre) with Cox'n Miller (left) and Lt(N) Griffin (right) receiving her promotion certificate. (24-10-01)

Cadet Bradley-Arbuckle was promoted from Able Cadet to Leading Cadet. LC Bradley-Arbuckle (centre) is pictured above with Cox'n Miller (left) and Lt(N) Griffin (right) receiving his promotion certificate. (24-10-01)
Cadet McDonald-Diaz also got promoted from Able Cadet to Leading Cadet but was not present at the time.
Awards/Recognitions

Cadet Acharya. A got an award for getting Standard First Aid Qualifications, and got recognition for his hard work as Supply Cadet, ordering the new uniforms for all of the new Cadets by getting Cadet of the Month. Cadet Le Bars got an award for getting Marksmanship Level 3 - Expert Marksman. MC LeBars (centre) is pictured with Cox'n (left) with Lt(N) Griffin (right) receiving his award certificate. (24-10-01)

A LOT of Cadets got sworn in that day (so many I can't even write all of their names). It highlighted the fast growth seen by our Corps. Cadets are pictured getting sworn in in three different groups above (24-10-01).
That was an exciting and action-packed Ceremonial Divisions! Congratulations to all the Cadets who got promotions, awards, or were sworn in. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you in the next one.
Sorry for the delay with this article coming out. It does not include the names of the Cadets who got sworn in.
